Well done with the countdown timer! I like all the colours and it's not too over the top. Perhaps the animation page needs a bit more experimenting with the positioning of them and whether they have coloured backgrounds too :)
Good main page layout and the countdown thingy is mint.
Unfortunately, the links seem to 'wobble about' when scrolling through pages. Try putting all the images in one table cell across the top of the page separated by a hit of the space bar. Plus there's a slight issue with their alignment. Just one or two bugs - the unselected festival link doesn't have a capital letter.
Some subtle DHTML rollovers might be nice. Oh, and restricting the colour scheme might be good... <_<
I like the colour scheme its bright and welcoming, But wat have u done to your logo. I liked it with the spaces because the font worked well. I think ur thumbnails need to be centered to match the rest of the site. But i knw you did try to do that tho :)
The count down is a nice touch although it draws my eye to the fact you have copyright for 2006.
I like your colour scheme for the buttons this works really well but points out the harsher colours used in the SALT of your logo which I think would work much better if it was in harmony with the buttons.
Not sure why your written information has been done on .gif this will make it quite laborious to make simple updates to the site.

Love the colours that you have used and the site looks really professional i.e layout, you are not overloaded with too much info at once but some of the liks didnt seem to work- maybe because I am using a pc without flash and other programs or not sure if the site is loading fully? This was the same with trying to view the actual works the pages didnt work, like the touch of the stills getting brighter to show that they have been highlighted one on the anim page nad one on the interactive didnt highlight though. Overall love the look and feel fully reflects your festival theme.
Looks fresh, like it. Though are you going to attach the highlighted text on the main page to other pages? Like Ash said, it doesn't look too over crowded you've layed it out well, maybe you could add more visuals to the main? Promting the animations for examlpe??? x
