I like the text in your logo and i think the intro is a good idea but once in the site i think there is too many buttons to press and it should be easier to find the projects.
After seeing the cd_rom content I was expecting the same lovely layout, type and colour to be used in the website. It sort of feels like two seperate events minus the splash page for your website.
I think you need to play with the css and change the links from the default colours to colours that tie in with your festival brand and colour scheme. Maybe use the black background and the yellow roll over that is on the cd_rom for the website as well.
There are some really good ideas like the wallpaper download section and the previous years archive. Maybe add the horror posters to the wallpaper download section as I like them a lot.
Cool animated header. I have also subscribed to your mailing list.
Reading Alex's comment there I would also recommend tying the site in with the DVD menu by having a consistent colour scheme ie. change the webpage to white on black.
The CD sleeves are a nice addition. One advantage you have is that you have actually done these extra elements to be added to the site, even if the wallpaper is a bit simplistic :)
Don't know if you are aware of this but the launch swf links need fixing so they are relative (eg. resources/example.swf) because it seems to be looking for the files on a Mac somewhere...
I really like the intro animation but i do think u need to stick to one colour scheme as in your dvd. And maybe change your link colours eg page properties
I like all the options and downloads there are on the site. It feels like a complete festival. A spectacle wearer might need a spectacle warning because the types a bit small. Doesnt bother me though
I really like the animated festival name and the intro really works well. The colours work better than the black background on the dvd but need to be consisted throughout both pieces to tie them together much more. There is still quite a bit of text to read in some areas. The submit form is a nice touch , the site really works as a festival .
I don't mind the text heavy stuff, personally. However there's always that nagging feeling that because this is a design course there needs to be more images.
Maybe think about an animated footer or something? I think perhaps the best parts of the site are where you showcase some of your print work. If possible, some more would be good. Yes,, I know the deadline is in a couple of days but it's a thought for if you have time to spare :)

I like the colour and the way the links are set out but think there's a bit too much writing to read in some parts :)
