The Drum Machine by Tokyoplastic.

i like the little characters in this film and the way the music interacts with the aniation.

Crying Chic by George Wu.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/filmnetwork/A16590143

really like the paper cut-outs and simple shapes. good mix of techniques too.

A picture can say a 1000 words by Tom Mansfield

http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/filmnetwork/A8763771

this film looks achiveable the way it has been filmed, has a very simple twist and is complemented by the music, shame i didn't think of this first.

I particularly like the Wu piece - it reminds me a bit of the St. Patrick's Day adverts from this year and I love the cardboard cutouts and aged film effects.

And the typewriter one is nifty too. I had one idea that perhaps I could do a piece linking computer keyboards with typewriters, sort of a backwards technology type thing.

That typewriter art is pretty impressive. Man, I didn't even know that medium existed! This guy is pretty cool. Maybe if you are interested take a look at ASCII art which is pretty similar but computerified.
