I have chosen to create an interactive environment based on the novel, The Little Prince. The book has some great illustrations in it to start with and there is already an interactive dvd available to buy on the book but am not gonna look at that until I have finished my own work. I have started by creating a few images and I am in the middle of testing how these images look when animated and ill give the link when I have finished. I know every one may not know the book and characters but I would appreciate some feed back on the images, thanks.

First of all, I'd say have a look at that DVD, if at all possible. I think it would make a great starting point and if you have access to it would really be useful as a piece of research. After all, it's the nearest thing you've got to a reference point as far as an electronic interactive interface is concerned.
Try some of the vids on Youtube.
The mockups look good - really colourful and I can see them working well as an animation. The guy at the bottom looks like MC Hammer, though. Think I like the top one with the kites(?) the best because of the use of the different colours. Reminds me a bit of Smarties for some reason.
I can visualise this being more of a simple interactive thing with the visuals really making it function. However some nice extra touches that involve the user a bit more might not be out of the question.
I like the stlye of your images and think they would look nice when they were animated, I'd like to see more detail in your kites, a bit like a dimond shaped one would look good in that style. I dunno if you have already but i think you should try and use some photos as reference points for your images and use a few more colours so theres a bit more detail/depth. I would like to see some little leaves and stuff blowing in the wind too.
I really like your images and you have chose i really nice book to make something with. The interaction is going to be important and i can picture it working with these images on screen.
I like the kites one how it is, the way the lines are drawn over the paper and you can see up close that they are meant to be birds.
I think looking at the dvd might help now that you have your own visuals to work with. Its not going to effect your work but might help you with different types of interaction.
I havent heard of the book be4 but the images look really good and interesting. it would be nice to see maybe a little emotion maybe by sound or the prince's face or movement.
